The cyclists' country

I have had the opportunity to travel across many European countries, including Norway, Greece, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovakia and Poland. I have become, however, especially fond of Switzerland. It is a country I really enjoy coming back to, even if it is only for a short cycling trip. There are numerous reasons why I keep coming back to Switzerland, most important of them being its fabulous landscapes, very friendly people and a quality network of cycling tracks. I recommend Switzerland to everybody looking to spend unforgettable holidays in a safe environment.

One of the highlights of travelling by bicycle with complete luggage are the opportunities for direct contact with many people. While travelling, one is basically dependant on their help. I have the highest opinion of Switzerland. I have enjoyed Swiss hospitality on many occasions. Several times I have slept in the open air without anybody frowning upon it. Prices of camping spaces are reasonable, although renting an apartment can be rather pricey. Swiss mentality and friendliness towards cyclists stem from a highly developed cycle tourism. It is one of the most popular sports in the country whose inhabitants use their bicycles as often as they use their cars, particularly in the warmer months of the year.

I hope that the photographs, panoramic shots and brief reports from my trip will bring the places I visited closer to you.
